INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION WINNERS.

 

Kanjikode:

 

        Manu Viswanadhan  and  Govind .K of Kendriya Vidyalaya Hemmambika nagar, Palakkad ,won the 8^th  inter school multimedia general quiz 2009 contest on GK and current affairs- India. , held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode on Monday. The competition was jointly organized by the Rotary Interact Club of KV Kanjikode  and  Karate Speed power international Rajguru Martial Arts Academy. 15 teams from 9 schools from the high  school classes of the of Palakkad district, participated.

 

        Abhimanyu AV and Ananad NK of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanjikode      became the runner up. The third prize is secured by Akshay Dev.S  and Neeraj Raveendran of  Kendriya Vidyalaya Hemmambika nagar, Palakkad.

 

        The competition was inaugurated by KP Ravidas , Principal of KV Kanjikode. The students from different classes should inculcate the habit of extra reading to take part in such competitions, he pointed.

Every quiz is full of drama, those banging tables and pumping fists. It is as a share of both passion and adrenalin with the top teams battling it out till the last question, he said. Every participant should utilize the competitive atmosphere to display their knowledge and also to gain a sense of accomplishment.

 

        Quizzing is aimed at encouraging the young people to plunge into the breath taking ocean of knowledge. More than developing many other qualities in the young minds it also teaches them to act under sheer stresses. It helps them realize  the beauty of the mysteries of the world and also to proclaim the God’s wonderful grace.

 

         Vice principal KVVSRS Lakshmi, inter school quiz convener A. Abdul Shumz, Karate chief instructor S Rajesh Kumar were among those spoke. Sri. Manu A Rajan, Deputy Manager, Axis Bank, Ltd, Kochi was the quiz master. Maneesha Sushama Pradeep, a student of class XI was the anchor.

INTER SCHOOL QUIZ ON 26^TH.

 

Kanjikode:

 

        The 8^th inter school multimedia general quiz 2009 contest jointly organized by the Rotary Interact Club of KV Kanjikode  and  Karate Speed power international Rajguru Martial Arts Academy will be held on 26^th January at the multi purpose hall of  Kendriya vidyalaya Kanjikode at 10.00 Am. Each school can send two teams comprising two students from the high school classes.

         The names should be forwarded to  A. Abdul Shumz, Convener, inter school quiz, Kendriya vidyalaya Kanjikode west po,Palakkad.pho-o4912566317,2803286,9447226448.email:abdulshumz@hotmail.com

before 25^th January with a certificate from the headmaster/ principal.

Six teams will be selected for the finals from the preliminary exam. The participants should report at 9.30 am on 26^th.

Certificates will be given to all participants. Winners will get trophy and Prizes.
